What Does Ignore Feature do to Others? - Guild Wars Forums

So my question is -If you put someone on ignore what does it show on their friend list? And can they ever pm through? And does it show if you switch chars, or does it show you offline? I looked on wiki and searched "ignore" but nothing came up or i did it wrong. Thanks for help

You appear offline for them.

If they try to PM you soon after being ignored, they'll receive a message "*user* is ignoring you", then you'll just appear as permanently offline and won't ever know wether you're online or not.

They'll need to know which character you're on to receive the "*user* is ignoring you" message again when trying to PM you.

If that the case can't the ignored person just add you to the freinds list?

Markaedw, they can still add you as a friend on their list but they won't see you when you're online. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Friends_List#Ignore_List

I didn't know the other person would see you in offline mode after a while, heh.

They do need to increase the ignore list and friends list size, that way I can fully permanently ignore ungrateful n00bz.
